Exams + Winter Moisturizer Help!

I just took my first final exam today and it was hard! Honestly, I didn't study much...more like two hours before the final. The night before was very stressful due to an argument with the bf and...it was PHO SUNDAY! I can't miss out on pho on a Sunday! Btw, if you don't know what pho is it's a Thai noodle broth. I was up until 4 a.m. balling my eyes out on the verge of breaking up with my bf. It wasn't a pleasant night because of that and I had to work that day! So, that's how I totally half-assed my final exam today!

As for the winter moisturizer, what do you gals recommend? I am in need of a FANTASTIC moisturizer! I've tried both types of Garnier Nutritioniste moisturizers and even an Origins Perfect World moisturizer with SPF and they don't work as well. I still have some dry skin near my chin that just won't go away! Let me know! I am in dire need of a fantastic moisturizer!!!!

Btw, did you enter my LORAC Sweet Luxuries Palette giveaway + Love Culture Sweater Giveaway yet? Well, there's still about a week in a half left so get to it!!!! Find my giveaway video on YouTube on my channel "cpickl3" or go to my last blog post: LORAC Giveaway + Top 10 Gifts For Her.

POWERROCKS Super Magicstick Review (a portable iPhone charger)

I just got my order not too long ago from a website called Opensky. Opensky is a website where you can find trendy things that celebrities and professionals recommend and at a fraction of the price! For example, this POWERROCKS Super Magicstick retails for $50, but I got it for about $22.50 each after my free in-store credit (and shipping is free). I bought two of these, one in blue and the other in purple.

Now, what does this exactly do? If you own a smartphone such as the iPhone 4/4S, you can charge your phone with this magicstick. You simply insert the USB/charger into your iPhone and the other end into the magicstick. Then, your iPhone starts charging! How cool is that?!
BUT, there is a catch. This precious stick doesn't last forever :(
It can charge your smartphone up to TWO times only!

I tried it for the first time today and it works pretty good. I estimate that it takes up to an hour to two hours to fully charge a smartphone. This magicstick will turn red when it's close to or is running out of charging power. You can see the light when you click on the button on the side of the magicstick. It's very easy and convenient to use. I just wish that this baby was able to be charged too...and lasted forever!!!!

By the way, if you're interested in purchasing the
POWERROCKS Super Magicstick click on the link below:

Unfortunately, it's not on sale anymore for the price I got it for. It's now $40, but you can easily get this on Amazon.com for a cheaper price!

Also, if you'd be interested, you can join Opensky! It's absolutely free! You can earn up to $15-$20 in credit right away and you're always receiving more credit as you rank up. You can rank up with points by simply "loving" a product that's on the site or commenting on a product. I ranked up three levels, which is the middle level of being an Opensky member, within two days by doing the things I stated above. And, of course, you can rank up by inviting your friends...even on Facebook.

Hope everyone enjoyed my review on this iPhone portable charger!

Have a good day/night :)

My favorite Thai dish: Pad Kee Mao & where to get the BEST

@ Thai Lotus in Sheboygan, WI

This was by far the best that I've tried, which is including presentation, flavor, taste, and spice. Most of the time that I've ordered this in the past it's never been spicy like I asked for or else it tastes bitter. This was my first time ordering pad kee mao from this place too so I'm pretty satisfied with it. If you don't know what pad kee mao is it's just a thick-noodle dish with onions, broccoli (rarely), beans, bell peppers, mushrooms, and black pepper. It's amazing and I love it!!!! I mainly get this dish only for the noodles and seasoning. All else I usually don't eat.
@ Thai Cafe in Sheboygan, WI

This would be the perfect picture of how I explained how pad kee mao usually looks like. This is my second favorite or probably my favorite place to go more in general and for pad kee mao than at Thai Lotus. Sometimes this restaurant can make the pad kee mao a little bitter and not spicy enough but overall with service and taste I love this restaurant the most!
Here's another picture of the pad kee mao (right) to go and the other dish (left) is called the Sexy Salad, which is very delicious! Words cannot describe how amazingly good this salad is. It consists of cucumbers, lettuce, carrots, your choice of meat (chicken is best) and a special sauce that taste kind of like ranch with a special something. This is also from Thai Cafe.
I forgot what this Restaurant is called but I think it's something like Tim Tum Thai in Chicago, IL. This place has great food, but I wouldn't recommend their spring rolls. Those were disgusting, but all else is very delicious. I love their pad kee mao. It was good but not the best.
Here's another Chicago, IL restaurant that served pad kee mao. It's a Thai restaurant and I also forgot the name but it's just a few restaurants away from this Japanese restaurant called Gyu-Kaku, I believe.

Anyway, about the dish I thought it was alright. I have this place rated last place just because it wasn't the best pad kee mao I've tasted. The bean sprouts were kind of unnecessary. But, I was desperate for pad kee mao and they were serving it. OK-ay, but not the best, either. Also, don't order the pad thai. I think I remember it looking yellowish and it just wasn't good.

As  you can see I am pad kee mao obsessed  I can't go to a Thai restaurant without eating it. I used to like pad thai, which has longer thinner noodles with a sweeter taste, but now I prefer spicier food. So, next time you visit a Thai restaurant I recommend PAD KEE MAO.

My First Xmas Tree

No, it's not on fire! I just lit it up...isn't it beautiful?

This is a 4-ft pink tree that I purchased from Kohl's for less than $19. It's originally $40ish and on sale for $21.99 but I had a 25% off coupon. I absolutely love different colored trees and smaller trees! I don't have much room anywhere to put a taller Christmas tree so I prefer smaller trees like this one. Plus, they're so much faster to assemble and put away!

This is my first Christmas tree because my family and I don't usually put up a Christmas tree. It's a simple reason, but we do still celebrate Christmas, of course. I think I used to have one back then but my sister bought it so I don't really consider it my first Christmas tree. And, I didn't buy the typical tall and green Christmas tree because I think they're too boring-looking and I wanted my Christmas to have something that would be different than everyone else's in my family.

Overall, I'm super excited to start decorating my new tree with ornaments and some small Christmas stockings for my BF & I. I'm in search of some cute Christmas stockings with the letters H and M since those are my BF and my first initial of our names. We call ourselves H&M! I've checked out Kohl's already and there were two that I was considering. Let me know in the comments if you see any others that are catchy!
